What Does Migraine Headaches And Heavy Bleeding Indicate?

I am a 47 year old woman. My menstrual cycle usually and normally last up to 5 days. This last time I lasted up to 9 days (heavy bleeding). I also encountered having migraine headaches as well as pain in pelvic area (this is not normal for me). I did go to the hospital on my 4th day to get an ultrasound on my ovaries, unfortunately they were not able to see them when they received the results. Could this be that I am starting menopause?
