What Does Multiple Foci Of Abnormal Flair Found In MRI Mean?
Because of continued headaches, I was ordered to have an MRI of the brain . . . findings stated multiple foci of abnormal FLAIR signal are seen within the subcortical and deep white matter bilaterally without corresponding restricted diffusion; there is mild diffuse volume loss. Midline structures appear nornal. I am a 71 year old female with fibromyalgia and osteoarthritis and some spinal cord injury in the C spine and L spine. I take pain medicine daily to cope with pain. What does the MRI FLAIR signal mean?
