What Does Non Movement Of Testicles During Contraction Of Abdominal Muscles Mean?

I started feeling pain in my left testicle and thought it might be a kidney stone since I had one about two years ago with similar pain (worse pain tow years ago) but noticed this time that when i contract my abdominal muscles that my left testicle does not rise as it normally does. I am around 43 years old and relatively decent health otherwise. I took some pain meds with codeine and the pain has subsided but concerned about the testicle not moving.
