What Does Pain In Right Side Of Stomach Indicate?

hey i was wondering what does it mean when the right side of my stomach hurt. i wake up in the morning feeling nausea, but i can't throw up. this been happening for a couple of days. i lay on my right side and it hurts so i will have to lay on my left, but then again i lay on my back then it hurt as well at times. recently i have gotten my period but all this been happening for more then yesterday when i received my period. this has me worried and don't really have the money to see a doctor so i was wondering what can it mean.
