What Does Peeling Of Skin After Burning Fingers Indicate?

The skin on my hands is beginning to peel off after spraying oven spray. It has been a day later my fingers burn with warm water. I am currently trying to keep my hands moist by applying body lotion and cream b up once I wash my hands it is drying up and skin is peeling. How can I treat this?
