PELVIC ULTRASOUND: pelvic sonogram shows the uterus with homogenous parenchymal echopattern, measuring 6.4 x 4.2 x 4.9cm. The endometrial stripe is intact measuring 1.0cm. No uterine mass noted. Both ovaries are not visualized due to bowel gas. No fluid seen in the posterior cul-de-sac. IMPRESSION: average sized anteverted uterus with intact endometrium. Non visualized ovaries due to bowel gas. WHAT DOES THESE MEANS?
