What Does Red Line From Arm Pit To Underarm Indicate?

I have a red line type snake look line that is under my arm pit and goes around like a snake to my under arm around my shoulder has been there for 6 months no cream will remove dr told me its shingles I have no such symptoms that is associated with shingles can u advise me what it may be
