What Does Red Vaginal Discharge After Using Modus Tablets Indicate?

I have polysistic ovaries. So my periods was not regualr. I am not getting even for two three months without the help of tablets. My doctor suggested Modus. How it will work? And this time before using tablets there red discharge from vegina..is this a symptom of peiods?
