What Does Reddish Color Stool Indicate?

Hiim asking about my mom. She has had very loose bowels for a few years and she has a hard time making it to the bathroom on time. I noticed today after an accident that it was a very light reddish color. Could you tell me what that means??? She is 78 ans refuses medical treatment
