What Does Ridge On Forehead In Toddlers Imply?

I have a 9 month old that started getting a ridge on his forehead. Starts from his soft spot to the bridge of his nose. It started a month ago and seems to be more noticable. People keep pointing it out.2 months ago his head was at 98 percent yesterday it was 89 percent.
