What Does Sebaceous Cyst On My Scalp Indicate?

i believe i had an sebaceous cyst on my scalp a few months ago which later popped on its own (without me going to the clinic). now that the cyst is gone, it left a bald/thinning spot in the area where the cyst was. i'm wondering if my hair would grow back? thank you
