What Does Severe Pain In Back Post Lumbar Surgery Indicate?

O.k. here goes. I am almost 74 female - in 2007 (I think) I had lumbar surgery. During the surgery the doctor either nicked or cut the dura - he would not talk about it. That was 8 years ago. Along with other difficulties (as nearly as I can discover largely because of medications I have been given) anyway, My back has started to hurt (below the waist) I can stand for about 10 minutes and then must rest for three or four minutes in order to continue whatever I was doing. Could it be a result of the tear or cut to the dura or the Medications. Xalerto, Ativan, Seroquel or something else?
