What Does Sharp Pain In Arm After Applying Pressure Indicate?

I was applying pressure to my arm when I felt a splitting feeling in my elbow, I dont believe that it is broken because I can still move it. It does hurt when i put pressure on it or move it to sharp angles. It is just a dull sharp pain but no discoloration under my skin has occurred.
