What Does Short Episode Of Dizziness And Blurred Vision Suggest?

Was at bank and suddenly got dizzy and blurred vision. To see clearly, I closed my left eye to sign a few checks. It only lasted a few seconds. Went home had some OJ and a peanut butter & jelly sandwich. Fell ok but this has happen in past, was prescribed some diabetic med from doc than blood work done again and taken off the med. Mini stroke or diabetic?
