What Does Small, Tender Spot On The Base Of Throat Indicate?

I'm a 34 year old male. Last night I noticed a tender spot at the base of my throat, where the collarbones meet. When I touched it, I found a small lump that was very tender to the touch. There's no sign of it on the skin. Is this something to worry about?
