What Does Soreness On Bottom Of Foot Indicate?

i have a sore on the bottom of my foot, its like an infection, it itches but it does not burn so i ruled out athletes foot which i often get , its about 4 inches long and 2 inches wide. it does not bother me with my shoes on but when air hits it is when it starts itching , i will wipe it and in about 2 minutes it seeps out a liquid , not much just enough to make it moist. I ve had it for about 2 weeks and I ve been using neosporine on it twice a day, can you tell me what you think it might be? oh ya , i don t have diabetes
