What Does Sporadic Cramping After Delayed Period Mean After Stopping BCP?

hi, i was on bcp for over 14yrs. i have since been off of it for 6-7ms now. my husband i are trying to conceive. i was due for my monthly june 26th. i am now 6 days late and 3 hpt negative. i have had no blood or secretions of any color ranging from white milky to light pink or even brown. however i have been experiencing sporadic cramping as if my monthly was about to start. is this my bodies way of telling me i may possibly be in the early stages of pregnancy? please help, im scouring the internet for answers.
