What Does Spotting In A Post Menopausal Person Indicate?

I am 14 year post menopausal. In the last 2 weeks, I have been spotting blood. It is extremely light and mainly shows a light pink when I wipe after urination. My doctor ordered a trans-vaginal ultrasound. The results stated Prominent somewhat lobular-appearing endometrium. 19mm which is abnormal for a post-menopausal female. Is there cause to worry about cancer? Could it be something else? I won t see a gynecologist for a couple weeks. Should I be concerned?
