What Does Stiff Neck With Pain At The Base Of Skull Suggest?

I have a stiff neck but my muscles aren t sore. I also have a headache, but not really. I know Ibepofin does not help. It just hurts at the base of my skull but is not tender anywhere. This started about two weeks ago. Can t get in to see my Dr. Until next Tuesday
