What Does Sudden Elevation In SGOT And SGPT Levels Post Liver Transplant Suggest?

My husband had liver transplant 5 months back due to liver cirrhosis not having any problem of hepatitis and his blood values are normal but now suddenly sgot n sgpt increases so what is the reason?? he is eating spices n green chills to some extent can be one of the reason?? what precautions should be taken reduce the value of sgot and sgpt?
