What Does The Blood Test Report Indicate?

I found out about a month ago that I was moderately anemic. I have had two IV iron infusions. I am scheduled to have a hysterectomy on the 23rd. Today, I had blood work done, and it came back with high platelets, high wbc s, low MCV s, low MCH s, high RDW s, low AST, high Neut s, high Seg s, low lymphs, low monos, high eosino, high baso, and high variant lymphocytes. The lab comments were: large platelet, hypo chromic, and microcytosis. My concern is that it is not safe to have the surgery on the 23rd, and that I may have to have more iron infusions. I also need to add that my father has Thalassemia Minor. Thoughts?
