What Does The Following MRI Report Indicate?

I had a synovial cyst 7mm on left side at L4-5 May 29, 2013. Recovered great, but still have back pain. Back pain has increase since 2014 and for the past 2 to 3 months has worsened and now I can t sit lay on couch or do any work. I have pain radiating on left side all the way into foot and toe. Doctor has tried to cover pain with narcotics and they don t phase it.. Had MRI 4/27/15. Findings L5-S1 shows no focal abnormalties. Impression. 1.No acute or focal bone changes of lumbar vertebrae are seen. 2. Postoperative changes of removal of let synovial cyst at l4-L5 level is noted. Facet arthropathy with hypertrophic changes on both sides at this level along with bulging annulus cause mild compromise of thecal sac and moderate to significant. compromise of both neural foramina. This finding is slightly more prominent compared with June 16, 2014 MRI. Dr. has said I need to go to pain management, and they sure aren t in any hurry getting me in. This pain is 10 times worse than anything I have ever experienced. Can you explain should I be more concerned and do you know anything I could do to help relieve this pain. Thanks Teresa
