My doctor gave me a report for the results of my 9 months old, daughters chest infection and I dont understand what it means. It reads Cardiac and mediastinal outlines are within normal limits. There is a pattern of bilateral peribronchial thickening with a perihilar distribution. No definate focal areas of pulmonary collapse or consolidation. In a child of this age, pattern would be in keeping with a viral lower respiratory tract infection. Mild degree of thoracic curvature convex to the left, without vertebral body rotation, may be postural. Can you please define what this means for me
