What Does The Following Ultrasound Report Indicate?

I had an ultrasound that states mildly increased cortical echogenicity compatible with chronic renal disease. no focal renal mass, hydronephrosis or stones. blood pressure and sugar levels WNL. What does this mean? Creatinine 1.7, BUN normal and Alkaline is normal
