What Does The Presence Of Dominant Follicles Indicate?

I having been seening my GP as i havent had my periods in 5 months, I had a blood test which suggested i had endometros.. i had my ultrasound today and the lady there told me that i have a domant folicile, what does this mean ? The GP thought i had endometris but the imaging lady said that it doesnt look like it
