What Does Thick And Foamy Vaginal Discharge After Having Sex Indicate?

Hi, i have only just started taking the pill after having my baby 8 months ago. My bf and i were having sex and noticed a creamy colour foam coming from me. It was quite thick and foamy and ive never seen this before. Was this because i was on top or is this something to be very worried about?
