What does this abdominal pelvic scanned result mean? Adnexae/POD; there is significant inflammatory reaction in both adnexae and pouch of Douglas causing poor interface between pelvic tissues.There is also mild free fluid collection in the pouch of Douglas. Peritoneal Cavity; there is localized mild distension and inflammation of the bowel loops in the left paramedian plane with thickened hypo choice wall and echognic mucosa as well as poor peristalsis. Please I will need the medication too.
