What Does This Blood Test Result Indicate?

HI, my brother (37 yrs) had done blood test on alternate days advised by doctor - which show high wbc count ie 11.1, 11.3, 15.4, 16.4 and platelets counts shows 444,375,487,413 and hbg level shows 12.4, 11.4, 12.4, 12.1 .. treatment in going on since 25 days but coughing is still not subsided and x ray reports shows some patch on chest, please advice what the cause may be, thanks
