What Does This Body Wide OctreoScan Finding Indicate?

I had the following procedure: 6mCi of Indium - 111 OctreoScan was intravenously administered and a whole body and regional images were obtained on 1/7/2015 and 1/8/2015.

Findings: There are multi focal areas of punctate increased tracer accumulation in the liver, consistent with liver metastases.

Impression: Multiple liver metastases

These are the findings from Lutheran Medical Center I received today. I had a Whipple operation almost 8 years ago for an endocrine pancreatic cancer at which time they found a spot on my liver. I have to wait until next week for my Oncologist to read the results.

How serious does this appear?
