Hlo doctor. My first cytology cytology result was this: Smear shows superficial &intermediate squamous cells with degenerative changes.excess inflammatory cells,mucus &RBCs.endocervical cell clusters are seen.for this my doctor advice Tablet CLAVAM 625 ,Dk Gel.& repeat the test.The second test of cytology shows EC/TZ component_ absent.smear shows sheets of superficial &intermediate squamous cells.No endocervical cells seen.Background shows sheet of coccobacilli.scattered clue cells are noted.shift in the vaginal flora suggestive of bacterial vaginosis.dr advice tablet METROGYL 400. Dr iam in fear if there is any serious problem in these results.I think second result is another infection different from first.dr what is the reason for this infections?why I can prevent its repetition? pls give deatils to clarifie my doubts.
