What Does This Endometrial Echo Test Indicate?

My wife just had a sonogram , blood work and et all. the only thing not normal was a endometrial Echo at 17.51 mm the report says "thick possible echogenic density seen within measuring 1.30 x 1.05 x .68 cm the DR is new to us and has a very heavy german accent so we don't understand him...he wants to do 3 surgeries laparoscopy hysteroscopy and endometrial ablation...please advise
