I had a genetic test done a while back, and I got the results in roughly a week ago. While most of it seems fairly benign, I noticed two things I felt I should be especially concerned about, but that I don t quite understand fully. First, I saw that I m homozygous for MTHFR mutations, and then the site I ve used displays a laundry list of potential health complications do to that fact (http://www.snpedia.com/index.php/Rs0000). Next, I discovered that I m heterozygous for atypical BuChE. it discusses potential atypical reactions to Cholinesterase Inhibitors, but I m not certain what that means for me. www.snpedia.com/index.php/Rs0000 My question is, what does this mean in terms of potential health complications or risks I may have? What should I be doing differently based on this information, if anything? I m going to link to the report I received, as it may contain more pertinent information than what I ve summarized here, and doesn t contain any personally identifying information. https://promethease-ondemand.s3.amazonaws.com/view/v0000-0663ad87-bc78-4ce1-8fa6-1054c30cc044/promethease.html?Signature=CcsWceci7/i/8W43cy0P7tid16Y%3D&Expires=0000&AWSAccessKeyId=AKIAJ4464GYXINOJJF2Q
