What Does This Hemoglobin Level Indicate Post Hemicolectomy Surgery?

My father s esr count is 85 mm in 1st hour. He has been diagnosed with moderately differentiated adenocarcinoma in colon. He underwent surgery left hemicolectomy two weeks ago. Chemotherapy is yet to start. Post surgery we have done blood tests. Hemoglobin is also 8.8. Is Is everything fine?
