What Does This Rectal Culture Result Indicate?

My son s rectal culture result says few white blood cells seen, few epithelial cells, few gram positive cocci in pairs , few gram variable bacilli. What does it mean? He went to an urgent care and the Dr. suggested that my son should see a GI, as she is suspecting that my son has colitis. And my son s only sx is itching on the rectal area. Isn t this bacteria cause by strep A?
