What Does This Result From MRI Indicate?

Could you please explain my mri results? At L5-S1 there is identified focal disc protrustion slighty greater to the left of the midline. Minimal distortion of the dural sac is seen. The neuroforamina are patent. I see a surgeon in a bout a week. Its just driving me crazy trying to figure out the results. I don t understand them. I have tried searching them but am having no luck
