What Does This Test Result Of Kidney Indicate?

There is a 2.1 cm complex cystic lesion in the lower pole of the left kidney which demonstrates low level internal echos and a thick septation. There is no hydronephrosis or perinphtic collection. There is no renacal calculus.what does this mean and is it serious ?Thank you
