What Does Troponin Level Of 0.009 From Blood Test Indicate?

I was recently in the ER for strep....during blood work. The er doc on staff ordered a cardiac consult... While I lay there the other doctor cancelled it because she told me my troponin levels was fine at 0.009,Was she correct? She said the other ER doctor was overreacting.
