What Does Two Large Bruises On Abdomen Mean?

I have developed two dime size bruises on my abdomen area. I don't recall hurting myself. Before the bruising developed, the areas were tender to touch. There was no reddness or swelling. Just looked normal. First time this has happened. Other wise I feel fine. I take a baby asprine once a day. I'm a 47 y/o male.
