What Does Vaginal Bleeding During Early Pregnancy Indicate?

After being a week late with my period I took a clear blue digital pregnancy test and it read that I was pregnant 1 - 2 weeks. Later that day I started bleeding and I have been for 3 days. Could I still be pregnant or was it just a chemical pregnancy?
