What Does Visible Red Veins At The Back Of Throat Indicate?

Hi there, three days ago the left side of my throat began to feel sore, which had now spread to the right side and I have been coughing up dark green/brown mucus. I also feel sweaty. Further, I just looked in my mouth with a torch and I can see red veins at the back of the throat and on the roof of the mouth, which has a slightly yellowish tinge. I am not sure if this is anything to be concerned about. Thanks.
