What Does Weird Feeling Of Thumping In Hair Mean?

I have this weird sort of thumping in my hair? Not sure if that makes sense I don't know how to describe it but its been happening all day. I even showered 3 times thinking something was in my hair but it seems like its coming from inside my scalp area. I just want to pull out my hair. HELP!!! Its never happened before!
