What Does Yellow Color At Injury Site Indicate?

Hello. I got a paper cut a few days back. The cut was very minor, and eventually it closed. However, I noticed that the closing area was yellow. It's been a few days since the cut has closed and there seems to be pus inside of the wound. The area around the wound is red and a little swollen. What should I do?
