What Dosage Of Flagyl Is To Be Given For Frequent Stools In Infants?

hi doctor, my 15 months old son suffered frequent stools of 7 to 8 times per day. when i consult his doctor he advised to give flagyl 2 times a day of 2.5 ml quantity till he finishes 2 bottles of flagyli gave him the medicine for the last 2 days and now he s okay.my question is, is it advisable to continue the dosage of 2 bottles???thanks in advance
