What Dosage Of Fish Oil Is Recommended For An Elderly Person?

I am 71 years old, am taking 81 mg of Lipitor, 500 mg of Metformin, and good blood pressure. Question: How much fish oil is recommended? I usually take either 350 mg of Fish Oil twice a day or 720 mg once a day. When I asked my doctor how much to take, he recommended 4 grams per day. Thanks
