What Happens If The Implanon Gets Bent?

i've had my implanon since july of 2010 and just a couple days ago around may 5 2011 it feels bent in the middle. it pops a bit too when i touch it. is it gonna affect it from preventing pregnancy, or will it do any damage. i asked my gyno and she didnt know what to tell me cuz she never heard that to happen, i have to wait to make an appointment and everything and who knows when that will be????
