What Happens When You Eat Hair Follicles? The Hair Root

What happens when you eat hair follicles? the hair root sheath? Is it potentially dangerous? I have been diagnosed with OCD when I was 11 (I'm 19 now) and I sometimes eat this stuff when I pull out thick hairs out of my head and notice the root sheath on them.
