What Has Caused A Brownish Red Colored Bruise On My Hand?

i have a weird bruise colored splotch on my hand,it looks kind of like dirt and its brownish red,about a week ago it looked like a little pink sunburn but now it looks like dirt or a bruise,what could this be?and it was really itchy about 2 days ago but not anymore and it doesnt hurt.
