What In Your Opinion Would Be The Most Effective Prescribed

What in your opinion would be the most effective prescribed medication to treat "severe" Vertigo symptoms such as sensations of spinning, feeling like you are in a small anchored boat and a constant flow of small waves are flowing under the boat, sensations floating upwards out of bed or from a chair. Also; if you or your Colleagues have any experiences or no of someone who does that could give us any possible diagnosis input/ ideas on this and the following information, we would be very grateful for your information and efforts. Any information at all at least can help dismiss some things and/ or open up other things to look at that others may have overlooked. My wife will also get a sensation of falling out or from our bed and in the middle of the night she will wake up and grab my arm or side to secure herself. She has these symptoms on a very severe level and she is losing confidence and hope as well as will. My wife has been suffering from such symptoms since around October 15th. 2015. She received her Flu vaccine at a local Franchise pharmacy around 10/13/16 (Not that the Vaccine is related but I try to be as informative as possible) and began having mild to moderate symptoms of vertigo lasting for an hour or so and subsiding for about an hour in between symptoms. As the days came and went, her symptoms began to get more and more severe and more frequent as well as longevity. At this time they have or may last up to 7 hours or more per episode and she only gets relief for about one half hour to one hour in between episodes and symptoms are never fully subsiding at all, just less severe. She has complained that her heart rate suddenly will speed up for one or two minutes and then she says she gets the sensation of almost jerking in a forward motion as if shee was in a car and the brakes were applied to suddenly stop. After that she says her heart rate seams to almost stop and then slow back down again. This will repeat once or twice or sometimes several times during a "Vertigo Symptom" episode.
She has had a CT scan of her inner ear as well as a MRI to look for brain related problems. Both were negative. She has a long history of sinus polyp surgeries (Samters Tri ??? disease) and has had 13 surgeries in the past 16 years. She has Aspirin sensitive Asthma. She also has been diagnosed with Cutaneous Scardosis ???. She was in generally OK physical health until she had a full hysterectomy in 2011. After the surgery she has never fully regained her physical health and has been afflicted with almost constant illness symptoms that have resulted in terrible disabling effects. We have had her at two different local Emergency Rooms several times over the past 4 years or so and usually they take some blood, tell us everything looks good (with the exception of an occasional low potassium level) and send her home with a prescription for something or an other that has no constructive effects. We have been told by one E.R. doctor to see a psychiatrist. She has also lost over 60 lbs. since mid to late may of 2015. 20 lbs. of this weight have been lost since early November. Other symptoms include Fatigue and weakness, bad headaches (daily), no appetite at all. She has lost most of her sense of smell (probably due to the multiple surgeries) and her sense of taste is almost non existent and bland. She has one other very strange symptom that doesn't seam to fit. She says that her mouth gets a burning sensation and feels as if it is swollen up like it would after dental work at a dental visit. This come and goes on a daily basis, one to two times per day and lasts one or two hours. I should point out that she also has a couple of other sensory related things that I have noticed or she has been diagnosed with over the years. She has what I call, "Hyper Hearing" and things seam much louder to her than anyone else. She was also diagnosed with Fibromyalgia several years ago. Please let us know if there are any questions that might relate to my wifes condition(s) that you might feel would be helpful. Thank yoy.
