What Is R-cin Used For?

My mother was prescribed a medicine called R-cin following a knee replacement. She was asked to take it for 30days. What is this medicine for (looks like it may be an antibiotic). Could it have any adverse side effects ? Her hemoglobin and sodium both are below normal range.
