What Is Causing Discomfort In The Back Of My Throat And Chest?

I had just come back from my mother's wedding reception. I woke up in the morning and suddenly for about 3 days so far, I get this horrible feeling in the back of my throat and my chest, every so often, it feels like I've drank fizzy drink too fast and have heartburn. What is this and what can i do?
